Last day to File Nomination Papers with the

Board of Registrars of Voters for

Certification on Names                      5:00 P.M.              Tuesday, February 20, 2018

Last Day to File Nomination Papers

With the Town Clerk for Candidate’s

Name to go on Ballot                         5:00 P.M.              Monday, March  05,  2018

Last Day to Protest or Withdraw

Nomination Papers                             5:00 P.M.              Wednesday, March  07, 2018

Drawing for Ballot Positions:                            7:30 P.M.              Thursday, March 08, 2018




                REGULAR SESSIONS:                    8:30.A.M. - 4:00 P.M.  Monday through Friday


LAST DAY TO REGISTER:           8:30 A.M. to 8:00 PM  Friday, March  16, 2018




                Major Offices:    MUST have fifty (50) certifiable signatures.  We suggest at least 100 Signatures:

                Town Meeting Representatives:     MUST have ten (10) certifiable signatures from your Precinct

ONLY.  We suggest a minimum of 15 signatures.


CAMPAIGN EXPENDITURE FORMS:      (Town Meeting members are excluded from filing

                                                                                  Campaign Expenditure Forms)

1.             A   Candidate’s Committee shall organize by filing a statement with the Town Clerk,

Candidate gives consent in writing.

Committee Treasurer gives written acceptance to Town Clerk.

2.             Filing Date  -  for a PREVIOUS ELECTION                                January 22, 2018


1ST Filing Date:     File with Town Clerk eight (8) days prior to election:                  March 30, 2018

2nd Filing Date:     File with Town Clerk thirty (30) days after the election:             May 07, 2018

If Candidate does not receive or expend any money, receive any “In Kind”  Contributions, or assume

 any liabilities in a reporting period, the Candidate shall still be required to file Form CPF M102.

If the above filing dates are not complied with, the name of the Candidate shall be filed with the Attorney General’s Office as required by Mass. State Laws.
