How do I request Meals on Wheels for my homebound, elderly relative?
The Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritious meals to seniors, age 60 or over, who are unable to leave their homes due to physical, emotional or cognitive impairments or have inadequate kitchen facilities resulting in an inability to prepare nutritionally adequate meals, illness, disability or frailty through the Meals on Wheels Program. A donation of $2.00 per meal is requested. To see if you or your relative qualifies, please contact the nutrition department at Elder Services of Merrimack Valley at 1-800-892-0890.
